On-The-Go Nutrition Tips

We’ve all been out and about when hunger strikes. But before you swerve into the closest fast-food or fast-casual joint, check out these tips! Take a picture of them on your phone and put each and every one to good use!

  • Before running errands, prep a lunch box or small cooler with non-processed protein snacks. Keep this in your car!

  • Avoid fast food! Hit up the grocery store for hot bar, soup, plain yogurt or another lean protein.

  • Prepare several stainless steel shaker bottles with protein powder to keep in your car. Fill with water for a quick protein fix.

  • Add a powdered electrolyte pouch to water to quench thirst and sweets craving (avoid sugary soda and coffee drinks!).

  • Choose protein at a rest stop or grocery store when you haven’t eaten for a few hours (AKA when you break a fast).

  • Ask yourself if you’re actually hungry or just influenced by images of food and restaurants when your’e out and about!
